A seminar on the potential and prospects of tourism in Vietnam has been held in Israel with the aim of boosting Vietnam's tourism and promoting images of its people and land to international markets.
Present at the event were 50 Israeli travel agencies and numerous local reporters.
Vietnamese Ambassador to Israel Dinh Xuan Luu noted the strong ties between the two nations and the great potential for new cooperative partnerships in future.
The Ambassador also introduced Vietnam's current package of tourism products to the participants.
Israeli travel agencies valued the useful information about Vietnam's tourism market and expressed hope that the Southeast Asian nation will continue to grow as an attractive destination for Israeli tourists.
They said they will to co-ordinate more closely with the Vietnamese Embassy in Israel and their Vietnamese counterparts to promote tourism cooperation over the coming time.
The seminar was jointly organised by the Vietnamese Embassy in Israel in collaboration with Maman Aviation Company, Vietnam Airlines' representative office in Israel and the Mekong International Tourism and Trading Co. Ltd.
