The Vietnam Craft Village Festival kicked off in Nam Dinh City on September 25, attracting more than 300 stands from 37 provinces and cities across the country.
Nguyen Quang Truc, Deputy Director of the Nam Dinh provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development said the festival provided a good chance for artisans to exchange experience and for craft villages to promote their traditional products locally and internationally.
During the event, there is an exhibition on traditional craft villages in the past and at present and a ceremony to honour more than 300 products which has entered the final round of the Vietnam handicrafts contest.
