The Binh Phuoc provincial Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism has unveiled a cultural preservation area of the S’tieng ethnic minority group in Bom Bo hamlet, Binh Minh commune, Bu Dang district.
The 100-hectare facility, including a yard for festivals, a hall, two traditional long houses of S’tieng people, four houses for handicraft villages, and Xuan Hong primary school, was built at a cost of VND 300 billion from the state budget and socialization sources.
The area is to preserve the cultural, historical, and architectural values of S’tieng people and those in Bom Bo. The province also plans to turn the place into one of its tourism attractions.
