Luxury Travel Vietnam seizes the opportunity to target the high-end vacationers in EU

Recently, there has been increased the tendency of luxury travelers within the Indochina destinations (Viet Nam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand and Myanmar), with expectation to target the high – end travelers and for these highlight potentially markets especially Europe, as the result, from the beginning, Luxury Travel Vietnam, LTD (www.luxurytravels.asia ) attended to the biggest international travel fair such as: Fitur, Oslo, Helsiki… and now to ITB Berlin, Germany. 

ITB Berlin is the global travel industry and the leading trade show that most of the well known travel agencies and tour operator attend. In 2015 a total of 10,096 companies and organizations from 186 countries showcase their products and services to 175,000 visitors which included 115,000 trade visitors. This year and in 2016, ITB Berlin will take place from Wednesday to Sunday, 9th to 13th of the March to the trade visitors only.

By attending the biggest travel fairs in such a international market, Luxury Travel Vietnam, LTD focuses to the right development to attract more European Travel agencies and Operators as well as individual travelers to open their products as a holiday to Viet Nam and Indochina. “Our business is developing steadily in the good tendency with 30% growth for each year and EU always contributes as the main markets of our revenue with around 60%. With continuing to attend ITB Berlin, we expect to expand our high – end market in EU”, said Mr. Phan Thang, DOSM at Luxury Travel Vietnam, LTD

According to ITB Berlin and IPK International, more and more holidaymakers are spending their vacation with a 48 per cent increase in the last five years in South-East of Asia; luxury travel has grown twice as fast as all other types of foreign trips, which grew by 24 per cent. The largest source markets for luxury travel are the USA, with 9.2 million foreign luxury trips, and China, with 6.9 million. Other major source markets are including Japan, Canada and Australia. In Europe, most luxury trips are undertaken by the British travelers, with 1.5 million, ahead of the French and the Germans.

Today’s luxury clients "are looking for more unique experiences and exclusive access" and "want to learn the local secrets of the destinations they explore,” said Mr. Pham Ha, CEO of Luxury Travel Vietnam ,LTD. 

As of the trip arrangements showcasing the most popular types of luxury holidays are followed by city tours, beach holidays and cruises. The remaining of luxury tours are on business, with Meetings incentives, Conventions and Events (MICE) as the travel purpose for most of these trips.
