(TITC) – The travel planning and booking site TripAdvisor has announced the winners of its Travelers' Choice awards for destinations, recognizing travelers' favorite places around the world including Ha Noi Capital (Viet Nam).

The result was based on the quantity of positive traveler feedbacks and booking interest from the TripAdvisor community over a 12-month period (from Nov 2014 - Nov 2015).

According to the site TripAdvisor, the charming Vietnamese capital has aged well, preserving the Old Quarter, monuments and colonial architecture, while making room for modern developments alongside. Lakes, parks, shady boulevards and more than 600 temples and pagodas add to the appeal of this city, which are easily explored by taxi.
