Update: Apr 11, 2016
The Vietnamese Cultural Week in Argentina has wrapped up in the capital city of Buenos Aires with a string of attractive activities.

The event, jointly organised by the Vietnamese Embassy in Argentina and the Argentina - Viet Nam Cultural Institute (ICAV) from April 1-9 at La Boussole Club, introduced to Argentine friends the land and people of Viet Nam as well as its unique culture and cuisine.

Many Vietnamese famous and award wining movies such as “Canh dong hoang” (Abandoned Field), “Dung dot” (Don’t Burn) were screened at the event, receiving warm response from local audiences.

Viet Nam’s history, traditional customs and beautiful landscapes were presented while local gastronomists had a chance to taste well-known Vietnamese dishes such as Pho (noodles) and nem (spring-roll).

A representative from the La Boussole Club hoped that such event will be held regularly to boost cultural exchanges between the two countries.
