The Vietnamese booth at the 22nd annual Travel and Vacation Show in Ottawa, Canada, attracted crowds of international and local visitors during the two-day event on April 9 and 10.
The booth run by the Vietnamese Embassy in Canada showcased maps and publications on the country’s tourism attractions and products, alongside unique handicrafts such as “non la” (palm-leaf conical hat), bamboo dragonfly and rattan goods.
Vietnamese Ambassador to Canada To Anh Dung said a mere 100,000 thousand Canadian holidaymakers travel to Vietnam every year, and taking part in promotion events like this show will help attract more visitors from the north American country to Viet Nam.
The Ottawa Travel and Vacation Show is the biggest tourism exhibition in Canada.
This year, the event housed more than 200 stands from over 50 countries around the world and saw the participation of about 17,000 visitors.
