Luxury cruise ship Genting Dream arrived at Nha Trang Bay, the south central coastal province of Khanh Hoa on November 9, bringing more than 2,000 visitors to Nha Trang city.
The 18-storey ship is 335 metres long and has a tonnage of 160,000. It is capable of carrying 3,400 guests and 2,000 crewmembers.
Most of the passengers aboard come from China, the Republic of Korea and European countries.
While their stay in NhaTrang, visitors and crewmembers went sightseeing to the city’s attractions like the Po Nagar Tower and Hon Chong (Husband Islet).
Earlier, the cruise ship docked at Tan Cang - Cai Mep port in Ba Ria - Vung Tau on November 8. Following Nha Trang, it is set to visit Da Nang city.
This is the first trip of the cruise ship after being launched by Genting Hong Kong and Dream Cruise Line in late October 2016.
Khanh Hoa province had by the end of October welcomed more than 3.9 million visitors, including 950,000 foreigners.
Since the beginning of this year, dozens of international cruise ships docked at the province’s Nha Trang and Cam Ranh ports, bringing tourists to the locality.
