Low-cost carrier Jetstar Pacific launched a direct route connecting Ho Chi Minh City and Hong Kong on November 18, with 300 tickets sold on the day.
The route has four flights per week on Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday using Airbus 320s aircraft.
Flights from Ho Chi Minh City are scheduled to take off at 9:35 am, while the return flights depart at 1:15 pm. Flight time per leg lasts for 2 hours and 40 minutes.
One-way ticket prices start from 288,000 VND (12.8 USD), excluding taxes and fees.
Hong Kong is a popular destination in the region for foreign tourists. Jetstar Pacific is currently operating 48 flights per week between Hong Kong, Japan and Singapore.
This is Jetstar’s second service from Viet Nam to Hong Kong. The airlines opened the Ha Noi-Hong Kong route in 2015.
