The Lao Cai provincial People’s Committee has agreed to allow two companies to put 36 more four-wheel electric cars into use to serve tourists to Sa Pa town and Lao Cai city.
Specifically, 26 electric cars of Tran Thanh Co., Ltd. will be put into operation all day on streets in Lao Cai city. Meanwhile, 10 electric cars of Group Tour International Tourism Co., Ltd. will run in Sa Pa town from 06h00 to 21h00 everyday, under the itinerary from Sa Pa coach station to Sa Pa Stone Church and vice versa.
The People’s Committee asked the Department of Transport, Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism, police force, traffic safety committee and Lao Cai automobile transport association to realize the project.
