According to the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists, Vietnamese photographers won seven gold medals at international photo contests recently held in India.
Photographers Tran Thi Thu Dong and Le Hoang Nhan have won two gold medals at an international photo contest held by the Kotrung Uttarpara Photography Association (KUPA) in India. With the support of the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP), the contest drew the participation of 237 photographers from 45 countries and territories in the world.
Photographers Tran Thi Thu Dong and Le Hoang Nhan earned the highest awards in the travel category for the works, “Salt harvesting” and “Duck breeding No.2” respectively.
Earlier, at the third international photo contest titled “Miracle 2017” organized by India’s Photography Pathshala under the support of FIAP, three Vietnamese photographers, including Le Hoang Nhan, Than Nguyen and Vo Dinh Khoa, also received gold medals.
Meanwhile photographer Tran Huu Hoa scooped two gold medals at the photo competition themed “Love for Art 2017” held by the Federation of Indian Photography. His works, “Help” and “Hunting in the rain” were granted awards in the categories of black and white, and nature. The competition drew the participation of 367 photographers from 43 countries and territories.
