A direct air route from Da Nang to Daegu (the Republic of Korea) will be operated by T’way Airlines from April 2nd with five flights a week, reported the Da Nang Department of Foreign Affairs.
The Da Nang - Daegu air route promises to attract tourists from both Daegu and Gyeongsangbuk provinces, contributing to increasing the number of travelers from the Republic of Korea to the central coastal city and further promoting cooperative activities between the two localities.
T'way Air is a low-cost carrier of the Republic of Korea. It was established in 2004, in Seoul. In Viet Nam, the airline is operating flights from Ho Chi Minh city to Incheon and vice versa, and is exploiting direct flights from Seoul to Da Nang with four flights a week.
Currently, tourist arrivals from the Republic of Korea place it among the top markets sending tourists to Da Nang. Eight Korean and Vietnamese airlines are operating flights from the central city to Incheon and Busan.
