Phu Yen to host the final round of Miss ASEAN Friendship Contest 2017

(TITC) – The Miss ASEAN Friendship Contest 2017 was officially launched from February 2017. And the final round of the contest will be hosted from June 1 to July 2, 2017 in Tuy Hoa City, Phu Yen Province.

The Miss ASEAN Friendship Contest 2017 – one of the activities celebrating the 50th Anniversary of ASEAN in 2017 aims to honor the beauty of Asian women and strengthen cultural exchange, friendship among the countries in the region; furthermore boost tourism and trade investment.

The central province of Phu Yen – “the land of yellow flowers on green grass” has been known as a popular venue for organization of many important events such as National Tourism Year 2011: South Central Coast – Phu Yen; the 22nd and 23rd Charming Viet Nam Gala; Miss Earth pageant, etc.

The contest is also an opportunity to promote the natural beauty and hospitality of Phu Yen in particular and Viet Nam in general to international friends.
