The Central Highlands Dak Lak provincial People’s Committee has approved a programme on gong performances to serve people and tourists in 2017.
The programme aims to preserve and promote gong cultural heritage and gradually establish cultural tourism destinations in association with artistic performances at several relics and beautiful landscapes.
Performances will be held twice a month from July to December 2017 in Buon Ma Thuot city.
The programme will include performances showing gong cultural values and musical instruments of ethnic minority groups in the province; concert of gongs and ethnic musical instruments; with performances of epics and choruses.
Dak Lak provincial Ethnic Dance and Singing Troupe, gong artistic troupes and traditional artistic performing units in the province will participate in the performances.
