Visitors to Bach Ma Mount in Thua Thien - Hue Province

The telpher, which would not affect the natural forests below, is expected to provide a big tourism boost to Bach Ma National Park, a spokesman for the province Department of Planning and Investment said.

It will start at Cau Hai Lagoon, have three stops en route, and end at Morin Bach Ma Hotel Hue.

The local government has already approved the 300ha resort in the national park at an estimated cost of VNĐ1.5 trillion (US$66 million). 

Established in 1991, Bach Ma National Park spreads over more than 37,000ha and is renowned for having the richest bio-diversity in Viet Nam.
