(TITC) – In order to attract more international tourists from Spain and Italy to Viet Nam, from 2-5 October, Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) organized roadshows to introduce Viet Nam tourism in Milan, Rome (Italy) and Valencia (Spain).

The events attracted the participation of representatives of Vietnamese Embassies in Italy and Spain, tour operators, hotels, tourism bloggers, and local press.

Since 1 July 2015, Viet Nam has exempted entry visa for citizens of five Western European countries including UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain, for not more than 15 days.
In the first nine months of 2017, there were more than 43 thousand Italian visitors (increasing 13.2% over the same period of 2016), and 51 thousand Spain visitors (+21.7%) to Viet Nam.
The roadshows were an opportunity for tourism companies of Viet Nam, Italy and Spain to share information, seek cooperation and promote bilateral visitors exchange.
