The Mieu Ong - Mieu Ba Festival 2018 officially opened on April 15 in Ba Che District, Quang Ninh Province.

This is part of activities in response to the National Tourism Year Ha Long - Quang Ninh 2018.
Many local people and visitors joined water procession, praying procession, palanquin procession, incense offering and releasing ceremony.
Besides, the festival was organized with various cultural activities such as a rice-cooking contest, stick-pushing games, a boat-race competition and so on. The highlights of the festival included the drum-beating specifically for the festival and art performances by the Quang Ninh troupe's artists.
