The seminar had the participation of representatives of Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT), Tourism Department of Khanh Hoa, Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan and Ninh Thuan, tourism enterprises and news agencies.

This was an activity within the framework of the famtrip organized by VNAT from 9 - 14 September 2018 to explore tourism products of Central Coastal region.

The seminar aimed at assessing the current status of tourism product exploitation and tourism development in Central Coastal region; seeking solutions to strengthen public-private partnership among local authorities and tourism enterprises; encouraging tourism enterprises to invest in tourism product development and lure more visitors to the region.

At the seminar, representatives of Tourism Department of Khanh Hoa, Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan and Ninh Thuan introduced tourism potential as well as tourism development in these localities. The delegates discussed on solutions to attract investment in tourism development, quality improvement and diversification of tourism products.

Ms. Pham Le Thao - Deputy Director of Travel Management Department (VNAT) emphasized that the Central Coastal provinces should expand cooperation with enterprise community to penetrate varied markets. In addition, the localities also have to focus on managing effectively destinations, protecting natural resources, improving quality of tourism services, ensuring safety for visitors…
