During six years of operation, The Reed Hotel has contributed a considerable part to the continuous development of the tourism and services sector in Ninh Binh. The hotel has served thousands of guests and taken part in organizing thousands of events of various scales for government, local and international agencies, enterprises, and organizations.
In order to promote the potential of tourism services in Ninh Binh as well as this project, Nam Ninh Trade Investment, the investor of The Reed Hotel, aims to build a complex of hotel - convention center - services in the North of Viet Nam and create a modern touch in the center of Ninh Binh City with international standards of service.
To achieve that goal and to catch up with the current trend of the tourism industry, Meliá Hotels International Group from Spain was selected by the company as the managing partner in transformation from The Reed Hotel to Meliá Ninh Binh.
In the project Meliá Ninh Binh, PTW Architects, Australia's leading architectural firm, has been commissioned to design and upgrade some items at The Reed Hotel to meet the standards of Meliá Hotels International. Along with that, Huong Sen Healthcare Company Limited will be in charge of operating Sen1992 – a five-star standard spa with luxury space and high-class services to give the customers a great experience.
The implementation of these projects will create a professional breakthrough in services, tourism and a unique architectural impression at the gateway of Ninh Binh City.
