The exhibition, which is a highlight of a series of cultural activities in the National Tourism Year 2018 – Ha Long- Quang Ninh, is jointly organised by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Viet Nam Association of Photographic Artists, and authorities of Quang Ninh province.
The biennial event aims to introduce to the public, both locally and internationally, outstanding works of Vietnamese photographers.
With the main topic of “Ha Long – Quang Ninh – From New Angles” and free topics, the exhibition received entries from May 2 to July 31. After nearly three months, nearly 10,200 single photos and photo sets by 1,436 professional and amateur photographers were sent to the organising board.
The organising board presented awards to 22 short-listed works in the two categories.
The exhibition, which will remain open to the public until November 8 at Sun World Playground in Ha Long city, is expected to provide visitors with an insight into the land and people of Ha Long – Quang Ninh in particular and Vietnam in general.
