The Republic of Korea (RoK)’s Solah song and dance ensemble performed at a traditional music exchange in the Mekong Delta province of Ben Tre on March 14.
The performance was one of several activities to mark the 17th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two nations.
The Korean artists demonstrated the unique and attractive performance style that accompanies traditional folk songs such as Baechigi, Gaesung, Nanbonga, Singosan Tharyung, and Saseol Nanbonga with Jukhung dances and Gomungo and Haegum solos.
Also, RoK viewers had the opportunity to enjoy popular Vietnamese folk songs such as Trong com and Ly cay bong, as performed by Ben Tre children.
