The Nam Hai seaside resort in the central province of Quang Nam has won a gold award at the annual Asia Spa & Wellness Festival, the region’s premier exhibition for the spa and wellness industry.
Less than a month after it introduced a whole, new spa menu, The Nam Hai has scored the prize at this year’s event in Bangkok.
The Nam Hai won the category of “Best Destination Spaâ€, which was voted on by a panel of judges comprising notable socialites, editors of regional spa publications, tour operators and sap enthusiasts.
The Nam Hai , which is owned by Indochina Capital and managed by GHM, owes its spa concept to GHM’s Corporate Director of Spa, Brenda Ramen, who drew from her travels in Asia when conceiving rituals and selecting products.
A tranquil lotus pond surrounds The Spa, which features two spacious pavilions accommodating eight spa villas, relaxation areas, steam showers and changing rooms. It has been nominated as “One of the World’s Top New Spas†by Conde Nast Traveler (USA) and called one of the world’s “Top 75 Spas†by Conde Nast Traveller (UK).
Most of the 35ha retreat’s 60 one-bedroom villas and 40 pool villas border the sea around 5 horseshoe-shaped spits of sand. In addition to a private stretch of beach, there are 3 pools available to guests, including a 50m long Olympic swimming pool.
