Vietnam Airlines increases flights for holidays

Vietnam Airlines plans to increase the frequency of flights from Hanoi and HCMC to several other provinces and cities on the April 30 and May Day holidays.

The national flag carrier will add an additional 38 flights and 25,000 seats per day on eight routes from HCMC to Danang, Nha Trang,Hue, Dalat, and Phu Quoc.

It is also considering increasing the number of flights on 12 air routes from the country’s hubs to Danang, Nha Trang, Dalat, Phu Quoc, Haiphong, Vinh and Hue to meet travel demands between June and August.

Additionally, it will offer lower airfare rates of VND 450,000 for the HCMC-Nha Trang routes, and VND 500,000 for the Hanoi-Danang and HCMC-Hue routes. One way tickets from HCMC to Phu Quoc will be priced at VND 650,000 while the fare from HCMC to Haiphong and Vinh and from Hanoi to Can Tho, Nha Trang and Quy Nhon will be only VND 900,000. The promotion will last until October 24.
