The Vietnam Railways Corporation (VNR) on June 25 announced its plan to operate more tourism trains from July to meet the travel demand of passengers during the summer.

Specifically, the trains coded SE35/SE36 between Hanoi and Vinh will be operated every Sunday.
On the Hanoi – Lao Cai route, the trains coded SP7/SP8 will be allowed to pick up and drop off passengers at more stops due to the temporary suspension of trains SP1/SP2.
The trains coded SQN1/SQN2 on the Saigon – Quy Nhon route will resume operation from July 1. The train SQN2 will depart from Ho Chi Minh City at 8pm every Thursday and Friday and the return journey will depart from Quy Nhon City (Binh Dinh Province) at 1:10pm on Sunday and Saturday.
The Ho Chi Minh City – Phan Thiet – Ho Chi Minh City route will be served by additional trains: SPT4 from Ho Chi Minh City on July 18, and SPT3 from Phan Thiet City, Binh Thuan Province, on July 19.
The Saigon Railway Transport JSC (SRT) will mobilise trains coded SNT4, SNT3 and SNT5 for the routes between Ho Chi Minh City and Nha Trang. Specifically, the SNT4 will from Ho Chi Minh City on July 16, 17, 23 and 24; meanwhile, trains SNT3 and SNT5 will run from Nha Trang on July 19 and 26.
Earlier, the Hanoi Railway Transport JSC (HRT) said that it will reallocate the trains coded SP3 and SP4 to connect Hanoi and Lao Cai to serve the needs of passengers.
