Korean Air will reduce its prices by 30% for Vietnamese students and other passengers flying from Hanoi to Europe and North America on various missions from now until June 2009.
Travellers who spend more than 9 hours in transit will also receive free accommodation.
In addition, Korean Air will drop the price of return fares on various routes from Hanoi to Europe, the Middle East and North America for passengers who travel via Seoul, the Republic of Korea (RoK), according to their spokesman in Hanoi, Lee Sang Kun.
The Korean operator has also teamed up with the Samtour Travel Agency to run tours to the RoK with a 25% discount for tourists departing from Hanoi.
The airline is currently supporting travel agencies in Hanoi to advertise in the local media.
