The Ministry of Transport has issued a decision to increase the frequency of flights on many domestic routes from December 29, 2021 to February 16, 2022, in order to serve travel demand during New Year and Lunar New Year holidays.

Accordingly, the Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City route will see up to 25 round-trip flights per day from December 29 to January 18, 2022 and 52 round-trip flights per day from January 19 to February 16, 2022.
Other routes such as Ho Chi Minh City - Da Nang will also operate up to 20 round-trip flights per day and 27 round-trip flights per day, respectively.
The Hanoi – Da Nang route will also witness a rise of 20 round-trip flights per day for both periods.
Many other domestic routes will also see increases by tens of round-trip flights per day during the New Year and Lunar New Year vacations.
The Ministry of Transport also assigned the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam to continue to monitor the market situation and pandemic developments across the country to propose appropriate frequency adjustments on domestic routes before January 13, 2022.
