On September 30, the Department of Tourism held the opening of a training course on room, table, reception and food processing skills for employees of hotels in the province.
Training course to improve customer service skills in the coming time
According to the Department of Tourism, due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, tourism human resources have fluctuated, many people have left their jobs and moved to other fields. This leads to a shortage of human resources for the tourism industry after its recovery and causing difficulties in recruitment. At the same time, it has affected the quantity and quality of services of tourist accommodation establishments in the province during the past time.
This training course aims to improve skills on room service, restaurant service, reception and food processing techniques for staff working at accommodation establishments in the province.
Not only being equipped with knowledge and skills, the trainees participating in the training course also have the opportunity to exchange experiences, contribute to improving professionalism and customer service quality in the tourism industry.
The training course was held for 3 days (from September 30 to October 2), with the participation of more than 150 trainees from tourist accommodation business units in the province.
