One of Vietnam’s records set during the Nha Trang Sea Festival 2009 in the southcentral province of Khanh Hoa is a huge dragon made of thousands of pieces of scrap metal.
The dragon, 4m high, 6m long and weighing 2 tonnes, was erected in 2/4 Square in Nha Trang City on June 12.
The dragon was made of 3 tonnes of scrap metal, including iron, steel and stainless steel as well as bomb and bullet peels by French sculptor Marc Morvan with the assistance of the Khanh Hoa Museum.
