Vietjet Air has opened a direct flight from Ho Chi Minh City to Kochi (India), opening up opportunities to travel easily between the ancient trading port of Southwest India and Vietnam’s leading economic and cultural center; and promote the development of economic relations and cultural exchanges between the two cities and two countries.

Vietjet is also the first Vietnamese airline to operate direct flights to Kochi. Vietjet pioneered in opening direct flights connecting Vietnam with India, contributing to opening opportunities for easy travel between the two countries as well as bringing tourists to destinations in the region and the world.
The new route open on August 12 serves customers 4 round-trip flights per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays with only 5 flight hours per flight. Kochi is the next city in India that Vietjet has direct flights to, after direct flights to the leading economic, cultural and political centers of the country of 1.4 billion people, namely Mumbai, New Delhi, and Ahmedabad.
Kochi was rated by National Geographic Magazine as one of the 50 best places to visit in life. Kochi is incredibly fascinating in history and culture, with the mesmerizing beauty of the Arabian Sea. This place is also a perfect combination of old world charm and modern world splendor, dubbed the "Queen of the Arabian Sea" and a tourist attraction.
Visitors at Kochi can also move more easily to Ho Chi Minh City and connect to destinations throughout Vietnam, Australia, the Republic of Korea, Japan, Hong Kong (China), Singapore and Indonesia with Vietjet
