Whether travelers are heading to Vietnam to sample the delicious local street food, to go surfing, or to visit UNESCO-recognised historical sites, new travelers should consider making a stop in Da Nang, suggested the article, explaining the modern city is known for its white-sand beaches and public art, including a huge dragon-shaped bridge that breathes fire at 9 p.m. every weekend night.
Observer also suggested the best hotels, excursions, beaches, and restaurants in Da Nang, saying Intercontinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort, Naman Retreat, and Fusion Suites Da Nang are among the good options for travelers to seek suitable accommodation.
Elsewhere, My Khe Beach is certainly worth visiting. Beyond swimming in the tropical waters which remain warm all year round, travelers can also partake in various activities such as jet skiing, wakeboarding, and even surfing.
In order to immerse oneself in Vietnamese culture and spirituality, a visit to Linh Ung Pagoda is a must. The pagoda is a modern Buddhist temple which opened in 2010 on the Son Tra Peninsula. The main attraction is a towering 17-story statue of a Lady Buddha atop a lotus flower which stands at 220 feet and is the tallest Buddha statue in the country, the travel website wrote.
Marble Mountains, Ba Na Hills, APEC Sculpture Park, and Hoi An are among the most popular destinations.
The travel website also suggested places to eat and drink in Da Nang, such as Madame Lan, Nu Do Kitchen, Mi Quang Phu Chiem, and Banh Xeo Ba Duong.
