Ben Thanh Tourist is introducing an overland tour to Phu Quoc combined with famous tourist destinations in the Mekong Delta

Departing from HCMC, the tour starts by going to see the ancient pagoda of Linh Thuu and the Rach Gam-Xoai Mut historical relics, then to some orchards in Tien Giang Province to enjoy fresh fruits. After arriving in Can Tho, the group will visit the Vuon Lan Binh Thuy ancient house. The wooden house was built in 1870 and contains typical southern architectural features, fine carvings and an 8m-high cactus called "Kim Lang Tru." In the evening, people can stroll along the Ninh Kieu Wharf and take a boat ride on the Hau River to enjoy southern traditional opera.

The next day, the tour group will depart for Ca Mau. Along the route, they will stop in Soc Trang to visit Doi (Bat) Pagoda, with its hundreds of bats, and K'leng Pagoda to learn about the culture of the Khmer community. The tour continues with a visit to the dandy's house in Bac Lieu Province.

After breakfast on the third day, the group will cross the immense Nam Can mangrove forests by speedboat to visit Ca Mau Tip, the southernmost point of Vietnam. After having lunch, they will visit the forest-village, and enjoy the panoramic view of Khoai Islet from the observatory: On the way back, the tour will head to Rach Gia for the night.

Then the tour moves on to visit Phu Quoc Island by boat. Upon arrival at Phu Quoc Island, after checking in, the group will go sightseeing in a primeval forest and swim at Ganh Dau Beach. In the evening, they can hire boats for fishing. Visiting Tranh Spring, Ham Ninh Fishing Village, Cau Temple, the Phu Quoc fish sauce production mills, and shopping at Dong Duong Market for souvenirs are some of the interesting activities included in the tour. In addition, the group will visit An Thoi Port and the Phu Quoc Prison and swim at Sao Beach, one of the famous sandy beaches with blue sea water, and enjoy fresh regional specialties.

If tour members choose to return by air, they can fly from Phu Quoc Airport to HCMC. However, if they continue with the overland tour, they will spend the night in Can Tho City, the most developed city in the Mekong Delta. There, they will have a glimpse of its unique cultural features, such as a visit to the Cai Rang Floating Market where they will see the goods hung above the boats, and the buying and selling activities on the river.

In addition, crossing bamboo bridges, rowing a boat, bailing water to catch fish, and swimming in the river will bring enjoyment. On the way back to HCMC, the tour group will stop by some orchards to buy fresh fruits as presents for their families.
