Vietnam attends fair of cultures in Mexico City

Two booths of Vietnamese cultural products, handicrafts, garments and textiles are being showcased at the fortnight fair of cultures in Mexico City.

The fair that opened on May 15 attracted the participation of representatives of 54 countries worldwide.

In the first day of the fair, Vietnamese booths, hosted by the Vietnamse Embassy in Mexico City, were among the attractions at the event.

During the fair, there will be 100 different cultural activities, including seminars, film screening and exchanges.

The fair, held for the first time in 2009, is to tighten friendship between different cultures in the world. This year’s event is expected to attract 1 million visitors.
