The Vietnamese people, country, and cuisine, as well as handicrafts, the country’s traditional long dress (Ao dai) and musical instruments were introduced at a Vietnamese cultural festival in Beijing, China on April 23.
Addressing the opening ceremony, held by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Vietnamese Student Association in Beijing, Minister of the Vietnamese embassy in China, Nguyen Vinh Quang, said this is a significant event to promote Vietnam’s image to international friends.
Items showcased at the event, songs and dances, as well as traditional Vietnamese specialities helped students from China and other countries learn more about the peaceful and culturally rich Vietnam.
