Ho Chi Minh City will host an international tourism exposition targeting customers at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre from September 13 to 15.
The Municipal Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the event's organizer, will work with aviation companies to invite 120 travel agents from North and South Europe, South Africa, Turkey, Russian, China, the US and India, that are interested in Vietnamese destinations.
They will also invite 100 travel agents from Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, and Vietnam to participate in the event.
During the exposition, a tourism conference will be held, bringing together the mayors of Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam), Phnom Penh (Cambodia), Vientiane ( Laos), Yangon (Myanmar), Bangkok (Thailand), Kunming (Yunnan- China), Jeju and Busan (Korea).
The conference will be within the framework of a tourism cooperation program in the Greater Mekong Sub- region (GMS).
