Exhibition highlights Vietnam's image in Poland

An exhibition of Vietnamese photographs and documentary films will be held in Warsaw, Poland to mark Vietnam's National Day (September 2) and promote the country's images to the Polish people.

Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Do Quy Doan announced this information on July 7 at a meeting with the Vietnamese embassy, the Vietnamese People's Association and the Vietnamese Women's Union in Poland.

More than 200 photos will be on display and 70 documentary films will be screened covering Vietnam's Government, National Assembly and global integration and development, as well as traditional craft villages, festivals, cuisine, World Cultural Heritage, landscape and people.

The exhibition aims to introduce the history and traditional culture of Vietnam during its process of international integration.

Chairman of the Vietnamese People's Association in Poland, Le Thiet Hung, said the overseas Vietnamese community supports the exhibition and is committed to making it a success.
