The Vietnam-Republic of Korea (RoK) Cultural Week 2012 will take place in Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province from September 15th to 23rd, as part of activities in celebration of 20 years of the establishment of Vietnam-RoK diplomatic ties.
Nguyen Ngoc Hung, Director of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Provincial Department of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Chief of the organizing panel, said that the week will help promote the understanding and tighten the friendship and cooperation between the two countries in general and between Ba Ria-Vung Tau Provinces with other Korean localities in particular.
During this week, there will be Vietnam-RoK artistic exchange, Vietnam-RoK film-screening week, Vietnam-RoK cuisine exchange, friendly matches, kite festival, a photo exhibition highlighting Vietnam-RoK friendly ties and a seminar on trade and investment promotion.
According to the organizing panel, the opening and closing ceremonies will be finely staged with the participation of various famous Vietnamese and Korean artists and singers.
