(TITC) - On October 22nd, Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong, Deputy General Director of the Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) had an interview with Mr.Charles Kao, Group Chairman & Publisher of Travelmole.com.

He said that Viet Nam tourism has 50 years of development. In recent years, Viet Nam tourism has been booming with average growth of international tourist arrivals being 15% per year, contributing about 6% of GDP. In the coming time, Viet Nam tourism will continue on innovation, planning, development in accordance with the world trend, focusing on sustainable tourism. Now, Viet Nam has been implementing the Tourism Development Strategy to 2020 - Vision 2030, which focuses on the development of sea tourism, eco-tourism and community-based tourism toward sustainable development and service quality improvement aiming to attract 7.5 million international arrivals in 2015.
