(TITC)- Viet Nam was named second in the list of the "Most popular Destination in Asia" by Go Asia at the International Tourism Exchange (ITB) Berlin 2013.
On March 7, at the ITB Berlin, the award was presented to representatives of Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism by Mr. Nobert Pfferlein, President of Go Asia.
Founded in 2003, Go Asia is a network of more than 3,000 small- and medium-sized German enterprises in tourism with the aims to enhance Asia in German-speaking regions through joint marketing activities; such as, the Go Asia website, participation in exhibitions and trade fairs, media relations and training initiatives.
The award reflects the outcome of an annual online poll conducted by Go Asia (www.goasia.de).
This year, Thailand came top of the poll, with Singapore in third position.
