Binh Thuan responds to tourism stimulus program 2013

(TITC)_Responding to the tourism stimulus program 2013, Binh Thuan tourism sector has joined in the conference on "Tourism stimulus program 2013" in Nha Trang City. The conference was held by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT).

To continue to build the image of an attractive, safe, friendly and civilized tourist destination, Binh Thuan has strengthened its advertisement and tourism promotion efforts to lure domestic and int'l tourists to Binh Thuan Province such as: to popularize tourism stimulus program on local media, to publish tourist guidebooks in several languages; and to participate in promoting province's image through domestic and int'l events, roadshows and fairs...

Along with the development and improvement of tourist service quality, Binh Thuan tourism sector has focused on promoting domestic tourism demand on weekends, holidays, cultural events, sports and tourism in 2013.

In 2013, Binh Thuan tourism sector strives to welcome 3.5 million arrivals, including 10% being international ones and reached over 5,000 billion VND of revenue.

Binh Thuan tourism sector has launched tourism promoting activities to attract tourists to participate in traditional culture and  sports events; to enhance local people's awareness to build a friendly and hospitable destination and to ensure the quality of goods and food safety.

According to Ms. Vo Hoang Yen, Deputy Director of Binh Thuan's Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, to stimulate tourism effectively, Binh Thuan should continue to promote the province's image more widesly and professionally such as: introducing provincial tourism potentials at International Sea Travel Expo Nha Trang 2013 and International Tourism Expo Ho Chi Minh City 2013; attending the workshop on tourist product development in central coastal region; and coordinating with Temjin TV Company Productions Co., Ltd. (Japan) to make a film on Phan Thiet landscapes (Binh Thuan) to introduce to the world...
