The 2013 Vietnam Ethnic Groups Art Festival, part of the Quang Nam Heritage Festival, wrapped up on June 25 at the Cultural Centre of the province.
The festival drew the participation of 450 actors from 15 public art troupes from 15 provinces and cities around the country.
Visitors to the festival enjoyed 70 performances of traditional folk songs and dances which praised the Party, Uncle Ho and the people's love of their country as well as featured the achievements the people have made during the country's renewal process and reflected the new rural construction.
The festival was held to promote the great national unity among the Vietnam ethnic groups and honour their typical cultural values.
In addition to performances at the provincial Cultural Centre, the art troupes also performed at 10 other places in the province.
* Earlier on June 24, an art exchange among Vietnam artists and eight troupes from RoK, Japan and ASEAN nations was also held at the 24-3 Square in Tam Ky city, the Quang Nam province.
