Phu Bai airport to re-open for departure and arrival flights

The national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines will re-open its flights to and from Hue after the Phu Bai Airport was closed for 6 months for runway repairs.
The Phu Bai international airport in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue, closed since March 20, will open on September 20.

On August 15, Vietnam Airlines announces the time-table for flights from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh city to Hue as the following:

* Hanoi - Hue - Hanoi: operating two flights per day, using Airbus A321 (184 seats), coded VN1542 and VN1544.

* Ho Chi Minh city - Hue - Ho Chi Minh city: operating three flights per day, using Airbus A321 (184 seats), coded from VN1370 to VN1375.

On this occasion, Vietnam Airlines has a special offer for passengers who change their flights from Da Nang city to Hue, with tickets purchased before August 15 and seats confirmed on flights to/from Da Nang between September 20 - November 20, 2013. These flights can be changed to Hue at no charge.
