Vietnamese budget carrier VietJetAir on December 26 opened a flight route between Vinh and Da Lat to mark major cultural events of Lam Dong and Nghe An provinces.
The route provides an additional 1,080 seats for passengers with three flights per week, on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. The 90-minute flight departs from Vinh at 8:05am and arrives in Da Lat at 9:35am to meet the passengers’ travel demand.
The return flight starts from Da Lat at 10:10 am and lands at Vinh at 11:40 am.
Earlier, on December 23, the carrier appointed BNP Paribas to manage the finances of its new aircraft order in 2014. This is one of VietJetAir’s steps to realize its agreement with Airbus to purchase 100 aircraft.
The new aircraft will be delivered starting in 2014 in order to serve VietJetAir’s development plans for offering charter flights and building a new modern fleet in the Asia Pacific region.
