The central province of Nghe An has set a target of receiving about 4 million tourists in 2014, raising revenues from tourism by between 18-20 percent against 2013.
To realise the goal, the province will implement a series of measures to overcome shortcomings in tourism services, especially at its major attractions including the Cua Lo beach and the Kim Lien historical relic which is President Ho Chi Minh’s birthplace in Nam Dan district.
Meanwhile, investment will be poured into developing new destinations in both coastal and mountainous areas where there are beautiful beaches and landscapes.
The provincial authorities plan to mobilise capital from all economic sectors for developing infrastructure system and improving the quality of tourism service.
The local tourism sector will also work with those of other localities to bring visitors to the region.
