VietJet Air increases flights for Tet 2014

The low-cost carrier VietJet Air has announced it will add flights on its busiest routes to meet the increased travel demand of passengers returning home to reunite with their families during the peak period before and after the Lunar New Year (Tet) 2014.

Specifically, from January 15 to 30, 2014, the carrier will operate an additional seven flights a week for routes departing from Ho Chi Minh City to Quy Nhon, Vinh, Hai Phong and Hue. Moreover, the newly launched Vinh – Da Lat route will have seven return flights per week, up from the current three flights per week.

VietJet Air will also add seven more flights a week on routes from Hanoi to Da Lat and Da Nang, and from Ho Chi Minh city to Hanoi and Cam Ranh from January 31 to March 29 to further satisfy travel need.

In the same period, VietJetAir also increases flight frequency on the Ho Chi Minh city – Da Nang route to 42 return flights per week with 7,560 seats.

Booking can be made through computers or mobile devices, via the website www.vietjetair.com. Payment can be completed with credit cards, or ATM cards registered to the online payment services of 21 major banks in Vietnam.
