Over 39,000 people visit Ho Chi Minh mausoleum during Tet 2014

As many as 39,011 people visited historical Ba Dinh square and paid tribute to Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum during the Lunar New Year (Tet) 2014.

According to statistics of the management board of Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, from January 31 to February 5 (except February 2), 39,011 people, including 22,548 Vietnamese and 15,270 foreigners, visited the mausoleum. On February 2, the mausoleum closed. On February 4 (the 5th day of the first lunar new year), 15,270 people visited the mausoleum, the living and working place of Uncle Ho.

Visitors showed their respect to the beloved leader of the Vietnamese nation, who devoted all his life for national independence, freedom and happiness of the people.

This year, the management board of Ho Chi Minh mausoleum decorated Ba Dinh square area and appointed cadres and soldiers to welcome tourists.
