Vietnamese students at universities in India’s New Delhi and neighbouring areas took part in an annual international cultural festival called Antardhvani which opened in the capital city on February 16.
The two-day events features a wide range of cultural exchange activities that help promote links between students and lecturers in New Delhi as well as international and Indian students.
The opening ceremony took place with art performances by international students, followed by a student march displaying traditional national dresses from 13 different countries.
International students organised a cultural camp with tents reflecting the unique characteristics of each nation. They can also play traditional music instruments and cook traditional dishes of other nations.
On the occasion, the Vietnamese embassy’s counsellor in India Khieu Manh Dinh presented gifts to Vietnamese students who have contributed to promoting the image of Vietnam to international friends.
