Vietnamese water puppetry performances have won the heart of audiences in the Cuban capital city of Havana.
The shows at Carpa Trompoloco Circus, which began on August 16 and will last until August 20, are always filled to capacity, with storms of applause after each item.
The Vietnamese traditional puppetry art, the only in the world, is associated with Viet Nam’s wet rice civilisation and its history. The performance reflects the pure Vietnamese soul through music, costumes, customs, and farm work.
This is the second time artists from the Ha Noi-based Thang Long Water Puppetry Theatre have performed in Cuba.
