In addition, there were many exciting activities during the event to engage all members in the process of leading environmental changes, including: Green Engage trainings, building floating treatment wetland, tree planting & watering, complimentary cyclo tours around West Lake, green-themed menus for staff, and encouraging staff and guests to bike, walk or take public transportation.

According to the General Manager of InterContinental Hanoi Westlake, Mr. Adam McDonald: “Going green is an approach that is based on our commitment to the triple bottom line of profit, people and planet. Our local footprint does not only focus on building a better economic wealth for our people but also on environmental concerns”.
