Foreign tourist arrivals to Viet Nam in February 2015 reached 756,000, a 7.9% rise from the previous month, according the General Statistics Office (GSO).

This figure included over 610,000 arrivals visiting the country by air, accounting for 8.7%, or up 8.7% over a month earlier while those coming by sea and road accounted for more than 7,000 arrivals, making up 0.93% or up 2% and nearly 140,000 arrivals, making up 18.2% or up 4.7%, respectively.
All tolled in the first two months this year, Viet Nam greeted nearly 1.5 million foreign tourist arrivals, a year-on-year decrease of 10%.
During the period, countries witnessing tourist growth in Viet Nam were Finland (59.2%), the Republic of Korea (55.1%), New Zealand (44.4%), Italy (44%) and Spain (31.7%).
According to GSO, the tourism sector served 12.5 million domestic tourists, grossing in a revenue of VND67.7 trillion.
