Update: Apr 22, 2015
The photography exhibition, themed ‘World heritage sites in Viet Nam’, was held on April 21 at the Ho Dynasty Citadel in Vinh Loc district, the central province of Thanh Hoa.

The event was being held as part of major activities during the 2015 National Tourism Year, which began in Thanh Hoa province on April 3.

The exhibits introduced the beauty and values of eight world heritage sites in Viet Nam, including the Ho Dynasty Citadel, to both domestic and international visitors.

The event aimed to raise public awareness of protecting and preserving the invaluable heritage, as well as inspiring the younger generations’ pride of national cultural traditions, and educating them on patriotism.

The exhibition is also expected to contribute to boosting the co-operation between the managers of the Citadel and other heritages sites to promote their strengths and potentials to attract more investments in preserving their values.

After being showcased at the Ho Dynasty Citadel, the photos are being displayed at other world heritage sites in Viet Nam.
